Each evening I’m getting less and less time to do “MY STUFF”. It’s all I can do to catch up on email, write a quick blurb here and do some quick searches. I’m sort of complaining but oh well. I have a lot on my mind but thankfully I’m at least feeling better. My blood pressure seems to be stable and I’m walking everyday (almost anyways).
First off, I’ve said before I’m working on my 25 year reunion with a few other gals. I’m really excited about it. I told the others that my strengths would be graphics so that I’d work on the “save the date” postcards and other flyers we’ll mail out. And of course being the perfectionist I am I have been mulling it over and over again how I want to do them. I want them to be awesome! I also want to do a website but since “I’m not in charge” I’m still waiting for the committee chair to email me back about the free site that I found. I was on the 10 year committee but we had lots more involved on the committee. So far this time we only have about 5 but there will probably be more later. It just seems like there is SO much to do…..I hope we can pull it together.
In other news I created a “MY SPACE” account. Don’t ask me why? I guess because the ladies on the reunion committee were talking about the classmates they’ve found already through MYSPACE. I guess I always thought it was for teenagers or those looking to hook up but I’m finding more and more of my online friends have accounts as well…Cool! Today I had a rock band ask to be my friend…LOL
Friday I’m taking my mom to pick up her new glasses and afterwards we have an exciting stop to make. I asked her if she wanted to go to the no-kill Shelter with me so I can pick out a new dog. I’m really exciting and have been watching the website to make sure the ones I really want to see are still there. There might be too many to chose from. I originally had my eye on a couple of small beagles but there is also a yorkie terrier mix and another small dog puppy there. They have lots of kittens and cats there now too but knowing that my sister will be bringing kittens next month I guess I won’t be tempted. And no……my husband does not know about the dog or the kittens. There may be some strong words but he’ll get over it (and least that’s what my mom said)…:-) LOL
I’ve also had Christmas on my mind lately. I have no idea what to get little boy. He’s not a baby anymore! Guess I need to start making lists
