Afternoon on the Mountain

Today we spent the afternoon on the mountain at the Burritt Museum up there. It was a lovely day. Little boy would have probably run around more but there were fire ant hills everywhere.

They had lots of farm animals up there too because it was a reproduction of how they lived in the 1800’s. Little boy loves the chickens.

The pigs were enjoying the day as well. Hope we didn’t disturb them….

There were several reproductions of old log cabins that you could go through.

Here’s how they lived back then. Very sparse….

Little boy enjoyed the cows too and even knows what cows say……”moooooo”.

I didn’t particular care anything about going up there mainly because we went with my step-mother-in-law who sometimes gets on my nerves but I guess we had a nice time. We stopped off at her house and visited awhile then came home so I could work in the yard which I’d been dying to do all day.
