Not really in the mood to do anything tonight. I had to leave work early today because they closed the city schools due to possible bad weather which of course meant day care closed at noon as well. So I spent the afternoon with my son watching the weather. Thankfully we barely got any rain…maybe a short heavy downpour. Our neighbors to the south got it much worse. Evidently that school system didn’t let their children out early enough and a tornado hit the high school dead on. Last I heard there were 8 killed in the school. So sad. If they’s only let them out a couple of hours earlier this might not have happened. The schools in my area were closing at 11 and 12 which gave everyone plenty of time to get home before the possible bad weather came in. I actually considered going to Target but thought with my luck we would get bad weather and here I’d be out in it….so alas we stayed home and watched the weather on TV.
The storms are over now and there is nothing on TV and since I didn’t get to the store to get something I needed in my organizational effort I didn’t really feel like crafting either. Maybe another night.
